Serrated blade and notch sights on the slide, with the "USS" monogram and "U.S.& S. CO. / SWISSVALE, PA. U.S.A." on the left side. "FJA" and "P" are present on the left side of the receiver, Remington-Rand or Ithaca frame, with "UNITED STATES PROPERTY", "M 1911 A1 U.S. ARMY" and "NO." style serial number on the right. Slide stop is serrated, with the thumb safety, magazine catch, arched mainspring housing and thin spur hammer all checkered, with a long grip safety and a lanyard staple on the butt. Fitted with a parkerized High Standard barrel and late style reinforced grips.

Completely refinished, showing 98% of the current parkerization. A few patches of bright gray patina are visible, along with light handling marks. Grips are excellent, with mild pressure dents. Mechanically excellent.
