Rating Definition:

Good. The barrels retain most of the original brown finish with most of the Damascus pattern showing. The remaining metal surfaces have a smooth gray patina with strong vivid original case colors showing on the upper tang under the break lever and in front of the hammers. The repaired cracked stock has been re-varnished and remains good with crazing of the varnish, heavy wear on the checkering and a few minor dings and dents. The forearm is good with a chip on the insert, moderate checkering wear and a few minor dings and dents. Mechanically fine.
