Description:

The rifled octagon barrel is marked "F. LASPER iN LiPPSTADT", is fitted with a low blade front sight, adjustable notch rear sight and has a solid rib on the underside. The lock plate is unmarked. Checkered hammer and plain lock plate flush with the stock. Double stet triggers with scroll style trigger guard. Mounted on a half length stock with smooth forearm with iron cap, checkered wrist, single barrel wedge, checkered wood patch box on right side, raised cheekpiece and smooth shotgun style iron buttplate. Complete with sling swivels and wooded ramrod.

Rating Definition:

Very good. Overall the rifle has a smooth gray patina, with a darker patina on the trigger guard and buttplate. There is limited minor pitting near the muzzle. Barrel is plugged at the breech. The reoiled stock is very good with some minor dings and scratches and a few minor pressure dents. The checkering is very good. Mechanically fine.
