Equipped with a windage and elevation adjustable replacement receiver peep sight with disk. The take down casehardened Martini-style action features a floral engraving on a punch dot background. The left side of the receiver also has an engraved banner marked "Weissenfels" flanked by medieval European style characters along a brass banner overlay marked "O. Kunze" flanked by medieval European style characters on the right side. Single crown/B and crown/U proofs are stamped on the frame underside. The floral engraving extends to the casehardened lever and breechblock. Checkered forearm with a carved dog's head at the tip with glass eyes and a checkered and floral carved straight grip Tyrolean stock with dished out cheekpiece on the left side and a thumb rest on the right side. Fitted with a casehardened Schuetzen style buttplate.

Rating Definition:

Good. The barrel has a smooth brown patina mixed with sporadic traces of original blue finish. The buttplate, receiver, lever and breechblock retain strong traces of soft original case colors mixed with a smooth brown patina. The forearm has a few missing silvers, along with a large missing chip on the forearm near the left side of the frame and on the thumb rest. Otherwise the wood is very good with minor dings and scratches. Overall the checkering and carving are crisp. The engraving is clear.
