Description:

This unidentified six shot revolving rifle of very fine workmanship is pictured in Frank Seller and Samuel Smith's "AMERICAN PERCUSSION REVOLVERS", page 201. The rifle has a low blade front sight and a fixed notch rear sight on a part octagon barrel. The brass frame houses a manually rotated six-shot cylinder and the top strap is grooved. Double set triggers, with scroll type trigger guard. Mounted on a smooth straight grip stock with a crescent steel buttplate. Included is a ebony ramrod with brass tip.

Rating Definition:

Very fine. The barrel retains approximately 75% of the original brown. The cylinder, buttplate and trigger guard have a smooth gray patina. The frame has a very fine unpolished original smooth mellow patina. The stock is excellent with some minor dings and scratches. The ramrod is replaced. Mechanically fine.
