This rifle features a solid rib that extends over the cylinder, acting as a top strap. The rib has fixed sights and is marked with a dealer's name, "Bonnerare et chapen a Buenos ajers". The left barrel flat is marked with a "crown/EL" proof followed by "CHAINEVZ" over an illegible marking. The 10-shot fluted cylinder has a floral engraving on the chambers. The floral engraving extends to the frame, upper tang, buttplate tang and scroll type trigger guard. A checkered engraving is featured on the lower tang and trigger guard. Functions in single and double action. It has a loading lever and ejector rod. Mounted on a smooth straight grip stock with smooth iron buttplate. The right side of the stock wrist is stamped "B226" (possibly a registration or museum number).

Good. The rifle has a smooth pleasant dark patina with some sporadic traces of original blue finish. There some scattered minor pitting, slightly heavier pitting at firing areas. The stock is very good with a few minor pressure dents and some minor dings and scratches. The engraving is clear. Mechanically fine.
