This is a scarce example of a Lefaucheux pinfire revolver carbine. The barrel is script marked "Leclerc Lefacheux Mayenne" and has a bead front sight. The serial number is marked on the right side of the frame along with "LF". It has a loading gate, a 6-shot cylinder and an ejector rod. Fitted with smooth walnut grips and a detachable skeletonized iron stock.

Good. The carbine, including the iron stock, has a smooth dark patina mixed with a smooth brown-gray patina. There is some scattered minor pitting and spotting. The pitting is heavier on the stock. The grips are very good with some minor dings, pressure dents and scratches. The loading gate latch and hammer screw are missing. Mechanically very good.
