Produced in 1935, and at some point had sections cut away from the exterior to show the inner workings. Blade front and notch rear sights, with the "G" on the chamber, a Persian-style marking on the upper safety position. The barrel is dated "742" with "1" on the other parts. Cuts have been made in the breech end of the barrel, four in the toggle links, nine on the barrel extension, seven in the frame, one in the trigger, two in the side plate, two in the left grip and three in the right. Though not an expert on Farsi, we made a comparison to a numbered Persian artillery sight and feel this example is number 1.

Fine, with 30% of the faded blue finish, showing a dull gray patina on the barrel and grip straps, bright edge wear, and scattered scratches and handling marks. Traces of straw color remain. The side plate is refinished. Mechanically fine.
