Description:

This second pattern drum magazine employs the stamped, folding winding lever. The magazine top and bottom are marked with the maker's code, "B/N" (for Gebrüder Bing/Nurnberg) and the serial number (503091). Late production with two concentric reinforcing rings on bottom and one ring on the top (winding lever side). A "Crown/S" proof mark is stamped on the upper left side of the magazine column. The numbers "12", "17", "22", "27" and "32 are stamped around the circumference of the magazine bottom. Complete with a brown leather carrying case. A strap is marked "(illegible) / BERLIN / 1916".

Rating Definition:

The magazine is very fine with approximately 90% original blue finish remaining with the balance a smooth brown patina, along with a minor ding. The spring is strong. The case is very good with some minor age cracking and some scattered minor scratches. The stitching is tight.
