This is a fine example of a pre-WWII luger dated 1939 over the chamber and marked "42" on the top of the toggle. The right side of the barrel extension is marked with two "eagle/63" proofs and a single eagle firing proof. The right side of the barrel and breech block is also marked with a single small Eagle firing proof. The upper safety area and extractor are marked "GESICHERT" and "GELADEN" respectively and it is fitted with a set of checkered walnut grips. This model has the all blued finish and it is complete with a WWII black leather holster that is marked on the back "CHEINCHEN/DRESDEN/1939 next to an Eagle WaA706 waffenampt proof. As noted this lot is complete with one magazine for the luger with three spare magazines. All three magazines are correct wartime versions that have the blued magazine body with the aluminum bases that are correctly numbered and proofed (all magazines are non-matching) .

Very fine with 95% of the original blued finish remaining with wear on all the edges and high spots overall with some thinning on the grip straps, the side plate hump, with a couple of small spots of pitting/corrosion on the right front edge of the muzzle and the front edge and middle section of the right frame rail. The grips are very fine with only minor wear on the checkering. Mechanically excellent. The holster is in fine condition with nice tight stitching, sharp clear markings just showing even fading of the color on the flap, the strap, and the lower toe area. The spare magazines are all in fine plus condition showing minor wear and field use. The pistol has matching numbers except all the magazines.
