The top of the chamber is blank and the top of the toggle is marked "WAFFENFABRIK / BERN" under the Geneva Cross, the left side of the barrel extension has an intertwined backwards "B" and "P" and a small boxed "+/M" marking, double stamped). The left frame rail just above the take-down lever, is marked "P. 54". A small Geneva Cross is present on the right side of the barrel extension and frame. The serial number is marked on the front of the frame and underside, rear of the barrel. The pistol is blue with straw colored take down lever, trigger, ejector, magazine release and safety lever. The grips are the correct, unique checkered version with smooth borders on the front and rear edges. The magazine is numbered "54" on the base with a brushed metal finish.

Excellent, with 97% of the original blue finish, showing some light wear along the edges, the start of a brown patina at the rear of the barrel extension, and light handling marks overall. Grips are excellent, with some minor staining and pressure dents. Mechanically fine, but the hold open is weak.
