The Imperial Eagle proof is also marked on the top of the barrel and left side of the toggle. The bottom of the barrel is marked with "Bo.80" over the serial number over "8.82". The safety and extractor are correctly marked "GESICHERT" and "GELADEN", respectively. 'Straw' colored components. The sights are a fixed front and notch rear. The backstrap has the stock lug. The magazine is a correct nickel plate WWI version with wood base numbered to gun. Visible numbers match. Checkered walnut grips.

Rating Definition:

Fine as cleaned and partially refinished. The pistol retains 7o% blue finish with areas of touch up blue on the usual wear points. There is some pin point pitting near the muzzle. The straw components have been polished and have a smooth bright patina. The grips are excellent with exception of a chip under safety lever and some very light handling marks in the crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
