Description:

This is a Norwegian copy of a Colt 1911 Semi-Automatic pistol. The pistol has a dull blue finish. The trigger, slide stop, thumb safety, grip safety, magazine catch, hammer and backstrap are marked with the last three digits of the serial number. All visible serial numbers match. The barrel is possibly replaced as it is not marked. The left side of the slide is marked with two Norwegian crown / letter proofs over "11.25m/m AUT. PISTOL M/1914" and the serial number. The date "1928" over "kk" is marked on the right side of the slide. Fitted with checkered double set diamond walnut grips.

Rating Definition:

Very fine. The pistol retains approximately 95% arsenal dull blue finish with some gray on the high edges and a gray patina on the grip safety and grip straps. The slide stop is refinished as it is not the same color as the balance of gun. The grips are very good as reoiled with some scattered minor dings and minor wear in the overall crisp checkering. The markings are clear and crisp.
