This shotgun features a single bead sight on a solid rib marked "XXV" at the breech. The barrels feature 2 7/8 inch chambers, choked improved modified/improved cylinder with ejectors. The right barrel is marked "E.J. CHURCHILL (GUNMAKERS) LTD." and "ORANGE ST GUN WORKS LEICESTER SQUARE LONDON" on the left barrel. Crown/BNP proofs are stamped on the watertable and on the barrels. The casehardened box lock action features a scroll engraving with "CHURCHILL" marked in a banner on each side. The scrollwork extends to the break lever, forearm hardware and trigger guard. Double triggers and automatic tang safety. Checkered forearm and straight grip stock with checkered bare wood butt and a monogrammed buttstock initial plate. Length of pull is 14 5/8 inches.

Period refinished. Barrels retain nearly 98% blue finish with some minor thinning near the breech and some scattered minor scratches. The break lever and trigger guard retain approximately 40% blue finish. The action retains approximately 35% vivid case colors mixed with a smooth gray patina. The refinished wood has some scattered mild dings and scratches, with crisp freshened checkering.
