Fixed front sight, hinged rear sight which pops up to indicate that the rifle barrel is engaged on matted rib, 2 9/16 inch 16 gauge chambers, 8x57 JR mm rifle and extractor. Sling swivel mounted on the barrel. Casehardened scalloped box lock action is border line engraved, double triggers, horn trigger guard, Greener safety, and tang mounted barrel selector. Checkered forearm and rounded pistol grip stock with shadow line cheek piece, weave pattern horn buttplate and sling swivel.

Very good with 98% period refinished blue on the barrels and very minor spotting. The action retains approx. 60% fading casehardening color. The wood is fine with scratches and dings. The checkering is crisp. Some insect damage to horn trigger guard. Left shotgun firing pin is broken and needs work.
