This shotgun featured a single bead sight on a solid rib with barrels marked "W. & C. SCOTT GUNMAKER" and "BIRMINGHAM, ENGLAND" and scroll engraved wedges on top. The underside of solid rib is marked "ABERCROMBIE & FITCH HOUSTON TEXAS". The barrels feature 2 3/4 inch chamber, choked full/modified with ejectors. Matching serial number on forearm, lower tang and action. The casehardened side plate action features a scroll engraving with "W. & C. SCOTT." marked on both sides. The scrollwork extends to the break lever and trigger guard, along with the trigger guard plate that is marked "THE / TEXAN" and features an engraved longhorn steer head. Single trigger and tang safety with marking in gold. Mounted on a nicely figured pistol grip stock with checkered grip area and forearm, grip cap, tear dropped side flats, buttstock initial shield and checkered bare butt. Included is a canvas covered hard takedown case with leather edge protectors, a W & C Scott leather label on the inside of the lid and red wine felt lining. The following items are included: oiler, 2 keys, a pair of nickel snap caps, leather sling, two piece cleaning rod with attachments, cleaning patches and a can of W&C Scott cleaner/rust preventative/lubricant.

Near new in maker's case. The barrels have some minor scratches and extremely limited spotting. The lower tang has a smooth plum patina. The frame and forearm hardware retain nearly 99% of the case colors. There is a patch of minor dings on the forearm, otherwise the wood has some scattered minor dings and scratches.
