This shotgun features a single bead sight on a solid matte rib and barrels with extra full chokes and 3 inch chambers with extractor. The barrels are marked "WALTER BETTS. MAKER. 26. WHITTALL ST / ST MARYS SQUARE. BIRMINGHAM. ENGLAND". The casehardened box lock action features a scroll engraved pattern, with "WALTER BETTS" marked on each side. The scrollwork extends to the trigger guard, forearm hardware and break lever. The break lever is also marked "W. BETTS." in gold and "B.C. GRADE" is marked on the lower tang. Double triggers and tang safety. Checkered forearm and round knob pistol grip stock with solid recoil pad. Length of pull is approximately 15 inches. Complete with a canvas bound takedown case with leather corner protectors and purple felt lining.

Refurbished to near new. The barrels retain approximately 99% thinning blue finish with some light forearm and edge wear, some light scratches and some sporadic minor pitting contained near the breech. The trigger guard/lower tang retain approximately half of the blue finish with the balance a smooth gray patina. The frame and forearm hardware retain approximately 95% vivid and bright case colors mixed with smooth gray patina. The engraving and marking are clear and crisp. The wood is excellent with some minor dings and scratches. The checkering is crisp. The case is excellent, exhibiting some mild wear.
