This Colt semi-automatic pistol is chambered for the 38 caliber Super cartridge and has a magazine capacity of 9 rounds. Frame and slide are cut for the Schwartz safety, but all of the Schwartz components are missing. The right side of the slide is marked "COLT SUPER 38 AUTOMATIC" in two lines followed by the Rampant Colt. The left side of the slide is marked with the two line Colt address and patent dates. It features fixed low profile combat type sights, grip safety and brown checkered grips. The bottom of the magazine is marked "COLT SUPER 38 AUTO". The left side of the frame just below the slide hold back lever is stamped G.H.D. The right side of the frame has the crossed cannon ordnance mark. Without a factory letter, writer cannot confirm the authenticity of these inspector marks, but doubt they are original. We are selling this pistol purely as a commercial Colt 38 Super semi-automatic pistol!

Excellent plus with 98% plus finish with a very minor blemish on the under side of the frame and minor scuffs on the front grip strap and very minor handling marks. The grips are in new condition.
