Produced in 1915. Fixed sights, with the two line, two block Colt patents and address on the left side of the slide, the Rampant Colt behind the serrations, "H" above the firing pin stop and "MODEL OF 1911.U.S.ARMY" on the right. Frame is marked "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" on the left side with the "GHS" inspector cartouche, and underlined "o" in "No" on the right side. Fitted with the long trigger, flattened rear sight, wide checkered hammer, short grip safety, checkered slide stop and thumb safety and flat mainspring housing with lanyard staple. Checkered hardwood grips with diamond patterns around the screws and the barrel marked "H/ P" on top of the chamber. Magazine not included. With a brown leather U.S. flap holster, marked "BOYT/ 1917/ C.G" on the rear.

Excellent, with 95% of the original blue finish, showing a few light scratches, bright edge wear, some verdigris in the protected areas and light handling marks overall. Grips are very fine, with a few light dents, verdigris and crisp checkering. Holster is good, with flaking, scuffing, a dark spot on the front and a few small tears. Mechanically excellent.
