One of less than 2000 produced between 1866 and 1888. Steel tip with a post sight on a ring immediately behind it, a Gutta Percha veneer over the barrel and action, a firing button just below a silver collar, and a finely detailed dog head top.

Very good, with some mended cracks and small chips in the veneer, pitting on the exposed metal, mixed color on the silver band, and a few small cracks in the head.
