The PAL Blade & Tool Co., made 121,131 M3 Trench knives. The knife has a 6 5/8" parkerized blade with 3" sharpened false edge. "U.S. M3 PAL" is stamped on the right side of the blade. The knife has an oval cross guard with thumb rest bend, ribbed leather washer grip, and pommel cap with Ordnance stamp. The knife is complete with a U.S. B.M. & Co M8 scabbard and green leather tie down strap. The original cardboard box is marked, "1 KNIFE, TRENCH M3 / DRG. 20-2B-52 / 1 SCABBARD TRENCH KNIFE M8 / DRG. VP131 / CONTRACT NO W19-059-ORD-1 / PAL BLADE COMPANY".

Excellent. The blade retains about 95% of the original parkerized finish with light scabbard wear. The grip is excellent. The scabbard is excellent. The box is in good condition with masking tape reinforcement.
