Description:

1) Murphy Custom fighting knife, made by David Murphy of Oregon from 1941 to 1954. 6" bowie style blade with unsharpened clip and a one piece textured aluminum grip with "USA" on the left and "MURPHY COMBAT" on the right. With a floral tooled leather sheath. 2) Floyd Nichols custom fighting knife with inscription. Produced in David City, Nebraska. 7 3/4" blade with extra long back clip, marked "ARNO A. BALD" on the left side of the guard. A leather knuckle guard is fitted to the cross guard, and the grip is solid ribbed brass with a nickel inlaid into the pommel and "NICHOLS" stamped above it. With a custom fit sheath, marked "ARNO A. BALD 2nd/ PLATTE CENTER: NEBR/ U.S.A." on the front.
