This is a very nice example of a rare WWII US Army M1903A4 sniper rifle that is complete with the late production Weaver M73B1 scope. This rifle has the correct offset marking on the receiver, the left side is marked "U.S. / REMINGTON / MODEL 03-A3" and the right side has the serial number. The barrel is marked "RA / ordnance bomb / 1-43" near the muzzle. It has the correct stamped barrel bands, trigger guard, and buttplate along with the original turned down sniper bolt that has the small 'R' markings on the underside. Smooth pistol grip stock, with sub-inspector proofs in front of the trigger guard, "FJA" initials on the left side below the cutoff, circled and boxed "P" proofs on the underside of the grip, "RRA-C" behind the bolt and a boxed "RIA/ EB" proof on the left side of the buttstock. It has a set of parkerized scope rings with the correct squared end scope base that is marked "REDFIELD" on the right rear side. The telescope is the correct late WWII Weaver M73B1 pattern that is marked on the identification plate as such, and numbered "20203" with electric pencil near the plate.

Arsenal refurbished, with 99% of the parkerized finish, showing a few mild handling marks overall. Stock is fine, with dark spots and scratches. Optics are excellent and the action is excellent.
