This is a nice example of an early WWII Model 1903A3 sniper rifle as manufactured and finished by the Remington Arms Company. The receiver is marked "U.S. / REMINGTON / MODEL 03A3" on the left side and the serial number on the right side. The barrel is marked "R.A. / ordnance bomb / 9-43". It has the typical stamped parts and components with the correct 1903A4 sniper bolt. The stock is a wartime "C-Type" replacement and is absent of any proof marks or cartouches. The front and rear sights have been correctly removed and it is equipped with a Weaver M73B1 sniper telescope. The right front side of the scope base is correctly marked "REDFIELD". Bayonet lug, leather sling and checkered buttplate with compartment containing an original oiler and pull through barrel cleaner.

Excellent. The rifle retains 99% original factory green parkerized finish, thinning on the receiver. The stock is excellent, otherwise there are a few overall scattered minor dings and dents. The markings are crisp and clear. The sling is good. The action is excellent. The scope is excellent with clear optics.
