This is an example of a Vietnam era sniper scope, mount and base that was specifically developed and produced at the U.S. Army WEACOM Command (Rock Island Arsenal) to be used on the M14NM rifle. The scope is equipped with Butler Creek quick release lens covers and marked "3X9 / ART II". The base is hand marked "14-4.38". Complete with an original green drop case marked "ART / II" on the lid.

Excellent, retaining most of the parkerized finish with some scattered mild scratches. The optics are clear. The case is fine.
