Produced in August of 1943. Blade front and adjustable peep rear sights with locking bar. The barrel has the single WP Winchester proof, Winchester bolt, trigger housing, hammer, safety and operating rod. Smooth pistol grip stock with restamped "WRA/ GHD" and a crossed cannon proof double stamped on the left side ahead of the wrist, circled and uncircled "P" stamps behind the trigger, green canvas sling and checkered trapdoor buttplate. With an U.S. PAL bayonet, 9 7/8" blade, black ribbed grips and green sheath.

Excellent as assembled, with 95% of the original finish, showing the start of a gray patina on the gas tube and some light edge wear and handling marks overall. Stock is very good, with some pressure dents and varnish loss. Bayonet is excellent, with light wear. Mechanically excellent.
