Description:

This is a nice example of a 1922 MI service rifle that was rebuilt/upgrade to a 1922 MII and sold through the NRA. The receiver ring has the standard M1 marking with the additional "I" and letter B suffix on the serial number. The barrel is marked "SA / ordnance bomb / 11-28" and the barrel and receiver have been drilled and tapped for scope blocks. It has a Lyman globe front sight and the military 48C target rear sight, adjustable for windage and elevation. It has the standard "M2" style walnut pistol grip stock with no visible markings, with finger grove forearm and checkered steel buttplate and nylon sling.

Rating Definition:

Arsenal refinished with 98% of the parkerized finish remaining and a few light scuffs and scratches on the barrel and some thinning on the floor plate and trigger guard. The stock is good with a small shallow gouge on the left side just ahead of the trigger and overall some scattered minor dings and nicks. The sling is good with some minor stains and tight stitching. The markings are sharp. The action is excellent.
