This is an early, post-War M1 Garand manufactured by H & R that has been assembled with all correct H&R marked parts. Semi-hooded blade front and adjustable rear sights and bayonet lug and stacking swivel mounted on the gas tube. The barrel is marked "HRA D6535448 5- 54 RS318" followed by "PM" and the defense stamp, the bolt "6528287 HRA/ -U-", the trigger guard assembly is marked "6528290-HRA N", the operating rod "6535382, HRA" and the receiver leg "5528291". The receiver has the standard three line marking over the serial number. It is fitted with the H&R birch pistol stock with an uncircled "P" imprint on the underside of the wrist. Complete with a new "MRT" marked leather sling and a fleece lined "US" marked canvas case with a shoulder strap.

Refurbished with approximately 97% of the parkerized finish remaining with some thinning and minor scratching on the barrel and gas tube. The trigger guard retains virtually all of the blue finish. The stock shows a few overall scattered minor scuffs and dings. The sling and case are excellent. The markings crisp and clear. The action is excellent.
