This is a very good example of a mid-WWII (October 1942) M1 Garand rifle as manufactured by Springfield Armory, that was subsequently rebuilt for Korea. This rifle has the standard markings on the receiver along with a later post war production barrel that is marked "SA-10-50" on the right hand side. It has a mix of some WWII Springfield parts along with some post WWII parts. It is fitted with a late production walnut stock and hand guard set, with a "RA-P" on the left side and a single "P" proof in the pistol grip area. The rear top of the hand guard is marked "24" in orange paint and the right rear of the stock has fabric stickers with the number "46". Complete with a green canvas sling.

Rating Definition:

Arsenal refinished with approximately 95% of the parkerized finish remaining with the gas tube having lost its' finish. The stock is very good with overall scattered minor pressure dents and scratches. The markings are clear. The action is fine. The sling is very good showing little wear and tight stitching.
