Blade front and folding ladder peep sight, with the Winchester barrel dated "8-18" and standard markings on the top of the receiver ring. The bolt is marked with the serial number on top and "W" and "N.S." on the underside, with an unmarked safety switch and "S" marked rear sight. It has a correct military stock and handguards, that has a small "E: proof on the forend tip with a Canadian broad arrow. The right side of the buttstock carries a "C" proof next to a lined out unit mark of BR/37.

Very good, with 70% of the original blue finish, showing the start of a gray patina, bright edge wear, and scattered light dents and scuffs. Stock is good, with scattered pressure dents and a few small chips around the edges withy a small import mark under the barrel. Mechanically excellent.
