This is a late production Remington 1903 modified rifle manufactured in 1942. The top of the receiver is marked " US / REMINGTON / MODEL 1903" over the serial number, the barrel is marked "RA over the ordnance bomb, over 12-42". It has blade front sight and ladder rear sight graduated to 2700 meters, bayonet lug and stacking swivel and mounted with a straight grip stock with full hand guard. The stock is marked with a circled "P" directly behind the trigger guard. Complete with a green canvas sling.

Very good overall, with 85% of the arsenal re-parkerized finish. The stock is good with a few minor gouges and overall scattered minor dings, dents and scratches. The sling is very good with some light stains. The action is excellent.
