Rare late production 1889 Navy model with very high serial number and nickel plated finish. Manufactured in 1894, the last year of production. The top of the barrel is marked "COLT'S PT. F.A. MFG. CO. / HARTFORD CT. U.S.A. / PAT. AUG. 5. 84. NOV. 6. 1888" and the left side is marked "COLT. D.A. 41". The assembly number (782) matches on the frame and crane. The left side of the frame is marked with the circled Rampant Colt. The cylinder rear is marked "V" and the cylinder latch is unmarked. Note that the cylinder has the long flutes of the Model 1889 and no cylinder stops on the periphery. Standard sights and checkered hard rubber grips with "COLT" in an oval at the tops. Nickel finished with blue trigger and top hammer edge.

Very fine with approximately 90% of the nickel finish remaining with spotting, frosting and light-moderate flaking overall. There is a hairline crack on the bottom of the right grip extending to the right facing (possibly a repair), otherwise the grips are excellent with some light handling marks. The markings are clear. The action is excellent.
