Manufactured in 1937. The left side of the barrel is marked "38" next to "DETECTIVE / SPECIAL" with the two-line Colt Hartford/patent dates marking on the right. Uncircled Rampant Colt is marked on the left side of the frame. Fitted with two-piece checkered grips with silver Rampant Colt medallions. Complete with a Muzzle-Nuzzle protective cloth gun sack.

Excellent. The revolver retains 99% plus original high polish blue finish with a few scattered areas of spotting on the right side, minor scratches on the cylinder towards the front and a very faint drag line. The grips are excellent with light handling marks overall.
