Manufactured in 1910. This very desirable revolver has the flat top target frame and checkered grip straps. The target bead front sight is adjustable for elevation and the target rear sight is adjustable for windage. The grips are finely checkered walnut. The trigger and hammer are checkered. The revolver has a high polish commercial blue finish; the sides of the hammer are bright. The top of the barrel is marked with the second pattern, two-line, Hartford address with 1884, 1900 and 1905 patent dates. The left side of the barrel is marked: "NEW SERVICE 45 COLT" in a single line. Colt's "V/P" proofmark is stamped on the left side of the frame above the trigger guard bow.

Partially refinished (cylinder), with the balance of the revolver retaining 50% of the factory refinished blue finish. There is some smooth wear on the grip straps and barrel, along with an overall gray patina, light handling marks, spotting, and high edge wear. The grips are very good, with some light wear and pressure dents. The action is excellent.
