This pistol was developed by Colt and then retained in the Colt factory archives until 2008. The pistol is unmarked with the exception of the "GX" serial number on the right side of the frame above the trigger guard. The pistol features a vent matte rib barrel with a blade front and adjustable rear target sights. The magazine release is located on the left side just to the rear of the serrated trigger. The grips are listed in the factory letter as being "Hand-made varnished smooth wood target grips with thumb rest on the left panel and remains of some checkering visible." Complete with factory letter and one magazine.

Excellent. The pistol retains 98% original blue finish with light scratches overall and spotting on the vent rib. The original factory modified grips are excellent with a few light handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
