Manufactured in 1939. Partridge front and adjustable rear target sight with serrated target trigger. The matte top of the barrel is marked with standard two line address and patent information. The left side of the barrel is marked with a bull's-eye image between "MATCH" and "TARGET". "THE WOODSMAN" is marked on the left side of the frame. The left side of the slide is marked with "COLT AUTOMATIC / CAL..22 LONG RIFLE" along with the Rampant Colt. Fitted with a wraparound checkered "elephant ear" grip with Colt medallions.

Excellent. The pistol retains approximately 97% plus original blue finish with some gray on the high edges and a gray patina forming on the backstrap. The grips are excellent with some scattered mild dings and scratches. The checkering is crisp. Mechanically excellent.
