Manufactured in 1941. Elevation adjustable front blade sight and windage adjustable rear notch sight. Marked with the two line address/patent dates on top of the barrel and "CAL. 22 LONG RIFLE" on the left and the Rampant Colt on the frame. The Colt "Triangle/VP" proofmark is stamped on the left side of the frame above the front trigger guard bow. The side polished hammer, royal blue trigger and backstrap are checkered. The checkered grips have Colt medallions.

Very fine, retaining approximately 85% slightly faded original blue finish with the strong beginnings of a brown patina mostly on the barrel and gray patina on some of the high edges. The grips are fine with some minor dings and scratches. There are a few minor dings in the overall very good checkering. Mechanically excellent.
