Manufactured in 1927, the second year of production. Elevation adjustable front blade sight and windage adjustable rear notch sight. Marked with the two line address/patent dates on top of the barrel and "CAL. 22 LONG RIFLE" on the left and the Rampant Colt on the frame. The Colt "Triangle/VP" proof mark is stamped on the left side of the frame above the front trigger guard bow. The side polished hammer, royal blue trigger and backstrap are checkered. The checkered grips have Colt medallions (both are numbered to gun).

Excellent. The pistol retains approximately 95% original blue finish with some gray on the high edges, some minor thinning on the barrel sides and a mixed brown patina on the front grip strap, along with some scattered minor scratches and spotting and a few minor dings (left side of barrel). The grips are excellent with the exception of a few very mild dings in the overall crisp checkering.
