NB - EXCELLENT- near new condition 95% - 98%, used but little, no noticeable marring of wood or metal, bluing near perfect (some wear at muzzle or sharp edges can be expected).

Colt Super 38 Pistol manufactured in 1949. The sides of the slide and frame have a high-polish blue finish and the grip straps and top and bottom of the slide and frame have a matte finish. Stag horn grips. The pistol has a serrated arched main spring housing, hammer, trigger, and slide stop. The manual safety is checkered. The left side of the slide is marked "COLT" followed by "SUPER .38 / AUTOMATIC" followed by the Rampant Colt. The opposite side of the slide bears the one line Hartford address. The Colt "VP" verified proof mark and the number 5 are stamped on the left side of the trigger guard bow; the inspector's mark "53" is stamped on the opposite side of the trigger guard. The magazine is blued and marked: "Colt" followed by "Super / 38 Auto" on the floor plate. Also included is a set of 5 spare magazines, 2 Colt production, all blued.

Excellent, 98% original finish remaining with scattered faint scratches and some minor edge wear. The grips are excellent.
