Description:

9-1/8 inch blade with single fuller and an irregular nioi line in a decorated lacquer scabbard with silver plated mounts involving many kinds of birds. The black lacquer scabbard has bamboo decoration. The tsuba is a single stamped brass sheet with milled edges. The hilt wrapping is torn and partially missing with one crane menuki loose but present.

Rating Definition:

Fine except for rewrapping on hilt with some dullness to the lacquer and light scratching. The brass mountings have over half of the silver wash.
