The top of the receiver is marked "1934 / WAFFENSTADT" / a coat of arms / "GUHL". "Deutsche Sportmodell" is marked in white on the top of the barrel and "ROECHLINGSTAHL" is marked on the left side of the barrel, with crown/letter proofs on the barrel and receiver. It has the military style inverted "V" front sight and target rear sight calibrated from 25-200 meters. The one piece pistol grip stock is fitted with an unmarked metal buttplate.

Very fine. The rifle retains approximately 90% of the faded original blue finish with the beginnings of a gray patina strongest on the receiver and trigger guard with some gray patina on the high edges. The stock is very fine with numerous minor dings and scratches and some scattered minor pressure dents. The markings are clear and crisp.
