Manufactured in Japan, this shotgun features a single brass bead sight on the matte vent rib, chambered for 3" shells, choked full/modified with ejectors. The right side of the upper barrel is marked "Weatherby (in script) ATHENA" gold filled. The barrels and safety are blue, the remaining parts are satin grey with floral scroll and rosette engraving on the frame, false side plates, trigger guard and break lever. There is a gold inlaid crown on the break lever also. Greener cross bolt, gold washed single selective trigger, manual tang mounted safety and mounted with extra fancy, nicely figured, high gloss checkered forearm and pistol grip stock with a white line rosewood grip cap with ivory diamond shaped inset and vented Weatherby rubber recoil pad.
