Description:

Blade is 11 3/4" in length, with a spear point, 3 1/2" false edge, and no makers markings. Guard is German silver, shaped as an "S" when viewed from above, and the pommel is silver with raised oak leaf and floral patterns. Grip is solid ivory, with ribbing at the top and bottom and smooth in the middle.

Rating Definition:

Fair, showing a mixed patina on the blade, with mild pitting and edge chips. Both silver parts are excellent, with mild handling marks and attractive patinas, darker in the protected areas. Grip is good as repaired, with a pair of mended chips near the top and an excellent contrasting grain color concentrated near the bottom.
