Description:

Measuring 6 7/8" in length and 1 1/3" wide at the base, the spear tipped double edged blade is extensively etched, with a full coverage scene of a bowman hunting deer on the right side of the blade and a block of untranslated writing, next to a lion pulling a chariot through a desert, next to a coat of arms on the left. Dual upturned quillion guard, with scroll and floral etching on each side and "TOLEDO" on the left. Full tang with etched accents on either side of the smooth contoured horn grips. The arms on the blade have not been identified at this time.

Rating Definition:

Fair. Pitting is present on the blade, obscuring some markings, with a mixed gray patina and mild handling marks on the steel overall. Grips are good, with some mild dings.
