Measuring 7 3/8" in length, the blade has a curved spine, 5" back clip and "THO SHORT JUN/ SHEFFIELD" on the left side of the ricasso. Tang is full sized, with thin brass plates serving as the base of the grips, with German silver panels with raised floral designs for the cross guard and pommel, and two horn scales in the center, with an inscription oval on one side.

About good. A brown patina has formed on the blade, with some mild spotting and handling marks. Grips are very good, with some dings on the metal, a crack in the plate on one of the guards, and some age cracking of the horn.
