Measuring just over a foot in length, the blade is sharpened clear down to the guard, with a 4 3/4 inch false edge on the spear point tip and decorative file work on 5 inches of the spine. Dual quillion cross guard, with matching file decoration, a scalloped pattern around the center, and an attractive 360 degree twist in the down turned front quillion. The grip is a single 6 inch long piece of horn with flared butt, secured to the tang with rivets. No makers marks are visible.

Fine, with mild pitting amid the mixed bright gray patina on the blade and darker color on the guard. Grip is very good, with a small clear plug in the front between the rivets and 1 or 2 thin age cracks.
