Produced circa 1919, Reising's run of target pistols started in the "1000" number range, making this either the first or second pistol made. Fitted with adjustable blade front and notch rear sights, with the two line address on the left side of the barrel, caliber on top and two line, one date patent marking on the right. Pushbutton-style barrel latch, with oval barrel lug and niter blue checkered hammer. Grips are checkered brown composite, with the Reising logo in the center.

Good, with 50% of the original blue finish. The surface shows a mix of original blue with a smooth gray patina, along with high edge wear, light handling marks and spotting. Grips are very good, with thin cracks and minor chips. Mechanically excellent
