This shotgun features a single bead sight on a solid rib. The barrels features 2 3/4 inch chamber, choked extra full/modified with ejectors. The right barrel is rifled. The right side of the barrel at the breech is marked "MANUFACTURE FRANCAISE D'ARMES ET CYCLES DE ST ETIENNE" and "FUSIL ROBUST BREVET. S.G.D.G." on the left side of the barrel at the breech. The casehardened forearm hardware, break lever and frame feature an extensive fine scroll engraving, with "ROBUST / NO 32-E-S" marked on the underside of the frame and two St. Etienne proofs on the watertable. The scrollwork extends to the trigger guard. Double triggers, with tang safety. The checkered forearm is numbered to the gun. Mounted on a checkered straight grip stock with a factory serrated horn buttplate. The buttstock has a retracting sling port. Length of pull is approximately 14 inches.

Very good. The barrels retain approximately 70% period blued finish with the balance a smooth gray patina with some minor pitting. The forearm hardware, frame and break lever retain approximately 20% original case colors with the balance a smooth gray patina. The trigger guard has a smooth gray patina. The wood is very fine with some minor dings and scratches. There are some minor dings in the overall crisp checkering. The buttplate has a few absent chips and a few hairline cracks. The engraving and markings are clear and crisp.
