The barrel is marked on the top left flat "WILDLIFE FOR TOMORROW" followed by "THE MARLIN FIREARMS CO. NORTH HAVEN CONN. USA / CAL. 22 S. L. & L.R. MICRO-GROOVE BARREL 39AWL". The right side carries the two line warning and safety stamp. There is a dovetailed bead front and adjustable sporting rear sight and features a 3/4 length magazine. The left side of the frame is scroll engraved with a gold outlined panel of two gold squirrels in a tree and the right side is marked in gold "WILDLIFE FOR TOMORROW/"SPORTSMEN SUPPORTING CONSERVATION" in two banners. Complete with a checkered pistol grip stock with Marlin safety buttplate.

Introduced in 1998, with adjustable Marble front sight and rear sight. The blued receiver is roll engraved with gold signature. The checkered straight grip stock has a blue end cap and Marlin safety buttplate. Complete with papers, manual, original factory styrofoam box and commemorative sleeve.
