Description:

Reportedly, this is one of less than 50 of these Auto-Burglar guns that were out on order through Holland Firearms when the 1968 Gun Control Act passed and the ATF halted their importation making this an incredibly rare firearm. Spanish proof marks dated 1968 on the flats. Chambers marked 3" with extractor. Includes a 1970 Holland Firearms, Inc. of Houston Texas, receipt showing the item was purchased by a Houston Police Department officer and related paperwork as the gun was transferred to another Houston police officer for use in the line of duty in 1971.

Rating Definition:

Very good overall, original finish with light handling evidence, some minor spotting, varnish flaking on the wood, and crisp checkering on the forend and grip. Mechanically excellent. This weapon is registered as a National Firearms Act (NFA), AOW (Any Other Weapon). Although NOT a fully automatic weapon it is still controlled as a NFA weapon that is registered with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, (BATFE) under the provisions of 18 U.S.C. Chapter 44 and 27 CFR part 479. It is also classified as a "Curios or Relic" as defined in 27 CFR, 478.11. These weapons are also subject to the provisions of 18 U.S.C. Chapter 44 and 27 CFR part 479.
